North Borneo Railway
The North Borneo railway is made only twice a week, Wednesday and Saturday, and going from Kota Kinabalu (Tanjung Aru station) to Papar Station, a schedule of 36 miles.
The North Borneo railway is a steam locomotive to use "firewood" and it is rare in the world. More than 100 years ago, They spread this railway from the inland, Tenom, for export or trade some farm products like cigarette, sago, sugar, tapioca, silk, soybean pineapple, progressing such as the rice in 1896. It changed into a diesel train under the influence of technical progress by the 1970s, but the North Borneo Railway was relaunched as a joint venture project between Sutera Harbour Resort and the Sabah State Railway Department, signifying a historical collaboration through common initiatives between the private sector and the state government in 2000.
Lunch is Tififn style. Lunch box "Tiffin" of the expression is very pretty. The costume of the staff reproduces then clothes, too.
