Gomantong Caves
Gomantong Caves is a digging place of "Bird nest" of the high-quality ingredients.
It is in the middle of going from Sandakan to the Sukau village of the Kinabatangan Rive.
You walk the boardwalk when you go out of the ticketing place and advance in a forest. Boardwalk is over, and a cave appears in front. You go ahead through the boardwalk on foot in the cave, but it is necessary to wear shoes because a step becomes easy to be slippery. In addition, the cave is reliable when there is a flashlight because it is dark.
One lap is around one hour in a cave from the starting spot until you do it and come back to the original place.
You can feel some smell and lots insects like cockroach or centipede...
The good season for the birds' nest collection from February to August.
