Agnes Keith House

The house where Agnes Newton Keith who is an author of this "Land Below The Wind" where a state of North Borneo of the time when Sabah was a British protectorate was written lived in becomes the museum, and it is with one of the tourist attractions of Sandakan.
It was built in the 1930s. When you walk on the small hill which can overlook the Sandakan city and the sea for around 20 minutes is built as a museum as those days, 1930s.

It is desplayed in the Agnes Keith House, something like the doll which was made with a sleeve and the underwear of clothes, night clothes, the limited thing in the surroundings including the rope for birthday present and the Christmas present of children, and photograph, the furniture of the room where it was thought to be able to spend it comfortably, records, and so on. It is interesting at all in those days when Agnes Keith lives in North Borneo.
